The Challenge

The ride-hailing and car rental space is intensely competitive, dominated by big players with established user bases. CereRides wanted to break through by offering more than just a booking app, they aimed to build a brand of trust, ease, and transparency that could scale fast in both urban and regional markets.

Key problems to solve:

Reduce onboarding and booking friction on small screens.

Surface transparent pricing and ETA to reduce abandonment.

Create safe, distraction-free driver flows to improve acceptance and retention.

Provide admin controls to automate routine ops and reduce manual work.

Prepare the product to expand across regions (localization, messaging channels.

Core Gaps Identified:

Mobile-first brand and visual system.

End-to-end UX across Customer, Driver, and Admin apps.

Tokenized design system for cross-platform parity.

Integrations: Maps, payment gateways, WhatsApp notifications, localization.

What We Did

Growth Area

What we delivered?

Distinct Brand Identity

Developed a bold, cohesive visual system with logo, icons, color palette, and typography for consistent recognition across mobile, web, and marketing channels.

Research-led UX

We audited competitors and mapped user pain points across booking, driving and operations. Early wireframes prioritized clarity, removing unnecessary choices that caused drop-off in legacy apps.

Mobile-first visual design

High-fidelity screens were created with mobile constraints in mind: readable typography, touch-friendly controls, concise content, and clear hierarchy for pricing and ETA.

Tokenized design system

We built color, type, spacing, and component tokens in Figma so designers and developers could work in sync. The component library included vehicle cards, booking flows, fare breakdowns, and admin widgets.

Prototyping & validation

Interactive Figma prototypes simulated micro-interactions and booking flows. Usability sessions validated the booking funnel and driver acceptance flow before development.

Intuitive Customer & Driver UX

Designed mobile-first flows for ride discovery, booking, scheduling, real-time tracking, and low-distraction driver interactions with micro-interactions for smooth task completion.

Robust Admin & Operational Tools

Built a centralized dashboard for fleet management, user controls, coupon workflows, payments, and analytics to streamline operations.

Post-launch scaling playbook

We delivered onboarding scripts, training decks, and a roadmap for localization, WhatsApp integration, and staged feature rollouts.
